Today my little man turned 5 1/2 years old. When you are little, once a year birthdays are just so very far apart. It makes life a little sweeter to celebrate the 1/2 ways points of the big holidays too.
At breakfast I asked our big boy just what he wanted to be when he grew up. His response:
a policeman
a race car driver
a fireman
a dad
an explorer
an artist
a ninja
and....
This kid has big dreams for sure!!
In addition to Ethan's celebration, I gave our little Zachary an extra long squeeze today as he turned 9 months old. 8 months was hard. He was distracted while nursing, became picky about solid foods, fought sleep at night and started to crawl. I am hoping that as all these huge milestones become more the norm things will settle back down for our happy boy. Sleep, so important for baby as well as for mom!
