Wow, what a week. I have halloween pictures waiting to be posted and I realize tonight that has now been a week ago. I knew running it solo while Josh is gone would be hard but I somehow hadn't realized I would not even have down time in the evenings. With no one helping at bedtime I walk out of the kids rooms close to 9 to then start evening chores, what ever happened to 7pm bedtime when we start our routine? I guess I am just a sucker for reading more and more and more books each night. I checked 56 new things out of the library today and most will be returned before the week is out. Yeah for reading, but bummer for the reality that there is very little evening time to sit and do all those projects I thought I would have time to do with my husband out of town (2016 family photo book that still isn't done anyone?)
But hey, it is 11:15pm and I found a minute to post this cute picture of Zachary last week. One of the number one projects I had Josh help me with before he left was to give Zachary a haircut. His hair is so different from Ethan's I am not ready to buzz cut his like I do Ethan. This little man has such a LONG head and wispy hair. But it does get long over the ears and down his neck. With his love to turn to grab at the scissors it is much better to take on this job with two adults in attendance.
But time does go by and by the time Josh gets home we might have to go for another trim on this handsome little man. So thankful for God's blessing of providing Josh with work. I keep praying for strength, courage, patience and grace as I keep going strong into these seemingly endless days without Josh here with us.
