The day after:
Girls are wearing new dresses, even though it is a home day
Lego sets are out and slowly being built
New paints are being enjoyed
A Christmas puzzle is out and being worked on.
Meanwhile in the kitchen the counter is covered with pinecones, moss, leaves and sea shells. We are working on a project for the library.
This middle of life look. I love and yet can only take for so long. Proud of myself today that I see the mess and see joy. I know later today I might run around cleaning but for now there is this and this is my husband and kids enjoying life. The day after - I am loving it.
