We are all enjoying our geography lessons this year.
I signed the kids up to get a box once a month. It leads us to information about a different country. September we learned all about Japan.
And my favorite part is that they give us so much information I can pretty much make a whole lesson out of one paragraph a day.
The other day we learned that in Japan the cartoon art form of Kawaii was created. I then lead the kids into art class and we all tried it ourselves.
They all had so much fun making regular day objects into "cute" things just like the Japanese do.
