We celebrate two things today. The first day after winter solstice is always a celebration in Fairbanks, AK. It is a day where we can say, "we did it, we made it through to the very shortest day once again. From here we will gain back our most loved daylight."
And as we all revel in our extra 19 seconds of daylight we also celebrate Josh.
Happy birthday to my husband, my children's father, a hard worker, a snow machine lover, a chemist, an elder in the church, a helper and my very best friend. So happy you are mine and we get to enjoy each of your years together.
